About Hops for Hope
ABOUT HOPS FOR HOPE

Triangle Hops for Hope pairs corporate teams with local breweries to create an original beer. The main event culminates in a competition that is open to the public, where teams and breweries showcase their creations in an epic showdown for awards and bragging rights. The idea originated among a small group of local professionals who enjoyed beer and wanted to do good. Launched in the fall of 2015, the inaugural Hops for Hope was held at Tír na nÓg with just ten teams and ten breweries who raised $20,000 to support Children’s Flight of Hope’s mission. In its second year, H4H 2016 was held on October 1 at CAM Raleigh and raised more than $45,000 for CFOH. In year three, H4H 2017 moved to the Raleigh Beer Garden and raised more than $70,000. For year four, the event returned to the Raleigh Beer Garden on Sept. 22, 2018, and raised more than $95,000 for Children’s Flight of Hope. Our 5th anniversary event at North Hills Midtown Park was the most successful yet- it grew again to 26 teams and 24 breweries and raised $160,000!

Children’s Flight of Hope

Children’s Flight of Hope (CFOH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides free air transportation for children in need of specialized medical care. Since 1991, CFOH has grown into a national organization, working with top children’s hospitals around the country from its headquarters in North Carolina. It is the only organization that offers the unique combination of commercial, charter, and private flights to ensure all patients can access life-saving treatment despite medical, financial, or logistical constraints. CFOH flew nearly 1,000 missions in 2018 and the need grows each year. For more information about Children’s Flight of Hope, visit the website at www.cfoh.org.
